Pulsation dampeners are commonly used in metering (dosing) pump piping systems to reduce pulsation and improve the overall performance and longevity of the system. They are typically categorized into three main types: air chamber type, diaphragm type, and bladder type.

A diaphragm pulsation damper, also known as a pulsation buffer, is a commonly used component in metering pump systems to eliminate pipeline pulsation and water hammer. It is an essential accessory for metering pumps.

Pulsation dampeners made from PVDF exhibit outstanding tensile strength and toughness, allowing them to withstand certain mechanical stresses while maintaining performance in high-temperature environments. Our Bowl-shaped diaphragm pulsation damper,is a kind of damper which we specially designed for small capacity but high pressure needs. It is designed with a bowl-shaped diaphragm and the diaphragm cavity is pre-filled with compressed gas. 

During working, when the external pressure exceeds the precharge pressure in the pulsation damper, the diaphragm will be pushed upward by the material, and the liquid enters the damper until the pressure on both sides of the diaphragm is balanced.

When the external pressure drops and the pressure in the damper is bigger than the external pressure, the diaphragm will be pressed back to its original position by the gas and the liquid is discharged from the damper.
